1981

Our bond with Malaysia’s health landscape has been decades in the making and can be traced back to 1981 when we first established our presence as Astra Pharmaceuticals.

1999

In 1999, Astra forged an alliance with Zeneca, bringing together the best of two Swedish-British pharmaceuticals to form AstraZeneca.

Current

Four decades on, we unlocked the power of science to pioneer many innovative medicines to address the disease burden and create an impact on patients’ lives. We do this because we put patients first. Looking to the future, we will continue to advance science and accelerate innovation to build a healthy future for people, society and the planet.
