A 30-month long programme for graduates with an avid career interest in the pharmaceutical industry or, in Sales or Marketing roles. 

A regional and in-country initiative, challenging students to propose ideas and solutions to a given situation. 

Project iDEA aims to engage a diverse group of student populations, enabling them to join a developmental programme and foster employment opportunities. 

PRCC is a full 5-day course, giving students experience and exposure to be career-ready in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly as a Medical Representative (Sales). 

An ongoing 3 to 6 months internship programme for science students to obtain exposure in varied functions within the enterprise including Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Marketing and Sales Administration.  
 
For non-science students, internship opportunities are available in finance-related functions covering Travel and Expense, Procure-to-Pay, Data Management, Tax and Credit Risk.  

I have been working in multiple role across finance department. This has all been made possible by a management team that always put ‘People’ first in developing talents. The friendly, diverse and inclusive working environment has helped me tremendously in adapting to every career stage.

Organised by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC), the award recognises an individual or company that has successfully partnered with a UK or Malaysian counterpart and driven exceptional commercial results as well as shown significant value-creation to the economy.

In 2023, we have been recognised by InvestKL for being one of the top three multinational companies to contribute towards job creation in Malaysia. This special award was accorded based on our commitment to grow high-skill talent for Malaysia and build a strong talent pipeline for the industry.

AstraZeneca won the Sponsor of the Year Award from Clinical Research Malaysia (CRM) for contributing to the highest number of clinical studies in 2023.

Organised by CRM, the CRM Sponsorship Research Awards 2024 acknowledges the accomplishments of Malaysia’s clinical research industry as well as honours clinical research professionals and industry players who have significantly contributed to the conduct of clinical trials in Malaysia.

We were also recognised as Acknowledgement of Partnership for our contributions to ‘First in-human’ and AI-related studies.

In 2024, AstraZeneca clinched the coveted UK-Malaysia Partnership of the Year Award for our partnership with Clinical Research Malaysia in advancing the field of clinical research and accelerating the delivery of new medicines for patients.

We had also clinched the second runner-up place for the Technology and Innovation Award for being at the forefront of driving digitalisation in healthcare.
